First Day of Preschool!

September 06, 2011/ Mary Heffernan

Someone is excited!!! Last night with Emmy, Francie laid out her dress, new LelliKellys (from a shopping date with Jannie and Grampa yesterday- all the way to San Jose for her size!) and lunch box next to her bed. This morning she came out at 7:15am dressed and ready to go :) we are on our way!!

View fullsize The little calf made it through the night (after newborn feedings every few hours) and is doing ok. She seems to have some fluid in her lungs from the sound of her breathing when it's labored, when she works so hard to try and stand up!! But no luck
View fullsize The little girl is holding her own and drinking a lot more than we expected - she tries to get her feet under her but they just aren't strong enough yet. We'll see how she does overnight but she seems to have some fight in her. 🐃👊🏼 #m5babies #five

View fullsize Ranch school field trip - JJ and Tiny went with Brian last week to check on the last round of lamb hanging in the abattoir (such a pretty name for a slaughterhouse!) where we harvest (another prettier word as an alternative to butcher) our animals.
