This picture was from the first night of our Newport/Catalina family vacation this week but we are all happy to be home and hibernating since we all got sick on the trip and are tanked up on this good stuff- plus antibiotics in the fridge... YUCK!

View fullsize The little calf made it through the night (after newborn feedings every few hours) and is doing ok. She seems to have some fluid in her lungs from the sound of her breathing when it's labored, when she works so hard to try and stand up!! But no luck
View fullsize The little girl is holding her own and drinking a lot more than we expected - she tries to get her feet under her but they just aren't strong enough yet. We'll see how she does overnight but she seems to have some fight in her. 🐃👊🏼 #m5babies #five

View fullsize Ranch school field trip - JJ and Tiny went with Brian last week to check on the last round of lamb hanging in the abattoir (such a pretty name for a slaughterhouse!) where we harvest (another prettier word as an alternative to butcher) our animals.
